Enquanto contributo à comemoração dos 50 anos do 25 de Abril e da democracia que lhe está associada, o Centro de Documentação 25 de Abril da Universidade de Coimbra acolhe nos dias 10 e 11 de Outubro de 2024 o presente congresso, no âmbito das iniciativas do Grupo Internacional de Estudos da Imprensa Periódica Colonial do Império Português (GIEIPC-IP). Uma iniciativa igualmente apoiada por outros parceiros desta rede e organizações que acolheram a ideia, desde logo o CHAM – Centro de Humanidades da Universidade NOVA-FCSH, a Fundação Mário Soares e Maria Barroso, o Laboratoire d'Etudes Romanes (LER) da Universidade de Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis, a Biblioteca Nacional de Angola, o Arquivo de História Social do ICS-Universidade de Lisboa, e o grupo ECOS – Exílios, contrariar o silêncio do CRIA- Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia.

Welcome to the website of the 1st International Congress of the IGSCP-PE in Coimbra. The Press of Exile(s)

As a contribution to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April and the democracy associated with it, the Centro de Documentação 25 de Abril of the Universidade de Coimbra hosts the present congress on October 10 and 11, 2024, as part of the initiatives of the International Group for Studies of the Colonial Periodical Press of the Portuguese Empire (IGSCP-PE). This initiative is also supported by other partners of this network and organizations that welcomed the idea, starting from  CHAM – Centro de Humanidades of NOVA-FCSH, the Fundação Mário Soares e Maria Barroso, the Laboratoire d'Etudes Romanes (LER) of the Université de Paris 8 Vincennes Saint-Denis, the Biblioteca Nacional de Angola, the Arquivo de História Social of the ICS-Universidade de Lisboa, and the group ECOS-Exílios, contrariar o silêncio of CRIA- Centro em Rede de Investigação em Antropologia.
